This is the interview questions I sent out to all the bloggers I read, the first is Dave of Dave’s Corner of the Universe. So I hope you all like the questions, I went by the Even/Odd Methodology, one serious one not so much. I will use Dave’s Icon to denote his answers and the other Icon to denote my questions. I hope you can figure out who is who.
French fries: Shoestring, steak, curly, crinkle cut? What condiment(s) on them?
Seasoned curly fries, and one of the coolest things about the year and a half I spent in Idaho was the discovery of fry sauce. It is basically 1,000 islands dressings without the relish. But it is pretty good with fries.
How long have you been blogging and why?
A little over a year. I had things I wanted to say and it was the best way to say it.
What odor/smell/fragrance to you is the most pleasant?
I live outside Portland I am legally obliged to say bacon’
Favorite things to read? What genre?
The writings of A A Forringer please make endorsement checks payable to Dave Heath. Science fiction, the little book store in my town of 2,500 had twenty of the old Dark Horse Aliens and/or Predator novels for like fifty cents apiece, I am half way through them. Comic books, Queen and Country, The Morning Glories, The Rat Queens and The Lumber Janes.
A boat you are riding in is about to capsize what did you do to contribute to this?
The ship is about to be capsized by the minions of Cthulhu who are trying to collect the twenty bucks I borrowed form him when we were freshmen at UCLA together.
What is the best thing about blogging?
To quote Janice Joplin “When I am on stage I am making love to a thousand people, then I go home alone.” That is how I feel about writing.
How much ground can a ground hog, hog, if a ground hog could hog ground?
A ground hog would hog all the ground, a ground hog could hog if a ground hog could hog ground.
What is the worst thing about blogging?
I am a terrible proof reader.
If you could force one famous person to read your blog who would you force, and how much would you force them to read?
Comic book writer Warren Ellis and make him read all of it since he made me want to read everything by him.
Where do you hope blogging will lead you too?
It would be nice if it made me get off my butt and gave me confidence to actually publish something someday.
I love Dave’s stuff particularly his interviews with fictional characters like Elllen Ripley (from the Alien’s series), Nick Fury from Marvel Comics, and Velma Dinkley from the Scooby-Doo Gang. I also contributed slightly to his Dream Team series with this little nugget The Underwater Lab Heist.
Next week: Irascible Jots.
