A little background, this book started out a little while after my book Scouts Out. Scouts Out was getting a little boring so I tried a little short story of this renegade who did not want to be a part of the Fleet, and the story grew from there into Disconnect. So this book took almost as long as Scouts Out to finish (about twenty years). Was there years I did not do anything with it? Of course, but it is finished, and out there for the world to either criticize, love or most likely just ignore.
