Listen


No man who has not tried it can imagine what dreadful hard work it is to listen. Splitting gum logs in the dog days is child’s play to it. I’ve tried both, and give the preference to the gum logs. Davy Crockett

David Crockett (August 17, 1786 – March 6, 1836) was an American folk herofrontiersman, soldier, and politician. He is often referred to in popular culture as the “King of the Wild Frontier”. He represented Tennessee in the U.S. House of Representatives and served in the Texas Revolution.
